17th Edition Training

By undertaking 17th Edition you will be fully compliant with up to date regulations and will be working to the industry’s required standards. If you already hold the existing 2381 16th Edition Qualification then you will at some point be required to complete the 2382-20 one day update qualification to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the new 17th Edition. If you have previous inspection and testing knowledge, then the 2392-20 qualification will be the qualification to do.

Updating from 16th Edition with 17th Edition Courses

The new wiring regulations don’t differ hugely from the 16th edition regulations and those who have had the current 16th Edition since June 2001 will simply have to have a quick one day 17th Edition update course to obtain the qualification.

The course is classroom based and includes a multiple choice ‘open book’ online test covering the underpinning knowledge relating to the content and application of BS 7671 17th Edition.

For those who do not already hold the previous 16th Edition qualification our 3 day course to include training will be most suitable.

City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations

The IEE Wiring Regulations are referred to in the Electricity at Work Regulations as a means of achieving compliance with BS 7671:2008, with the IEE Wiring Regulations which is used as a standard against which all electrical installations must comply.
