ACS & Appliances

It is illegal to work on gas installations and appliances in the UK unless an engineer is Gas Safe registered and holds valid and relevant ACS qualifications.

All engineers must hold ACS CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety and in addition must qualify for the appliances they wish to work on. ACS certificates need to be renewed every five years.

Prior to undertaking ACS CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety candidates must hold a recognised gas qualification (Get to Gas) or if already an engineer, a previous ACS CCN1 ceriticate.
