This course enables plumbing and heating engineers to confirm their competence in installing and maintaining unvented hot water storage systems. Successful completion allows candidates’ membership to an Unvented Hot Water Competent Persons Scheme. It is illegal to work on unvented hot water systems with capacities over 15L unless a recognised qualification is held.

Candidates will be able to expand their services, be recognised as competent to design, install, service, and maintain unvented water systems, and self-certify their work in compliance with Part G Building Regulations.
