Skills Bootcamp In Green Skills

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

These courses are fully funded and are free for learners. They are available to those who are unemployed, employed (looking to change career), and self-employed. Skills Bootcamps can be co-funded by employers to enable upskilling of employees.

Qualification

  • Digital Credential – Introduction to Domestic Retrofit
  • LCL Awards Level 3 Award In the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems
  • LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Locations
  • LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems

Entry requirements

  • Level 3 Electrotechnical vocational qualification (including initial verification and certification of electrical installation)
  • Up to date BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
